Jiangxi Tiansheng New Materials Co., Ltd. was founded in 2013. Back then, we produced chemical products like defoamers, wetting agents, and agricultural additives. Over a decade of experience in chemical raw material formulation gave us a solid foundation for what came next.

In 2020, a chance meeting changed our direction. One of our bosses, Mr. Chen, sat down with Mr. Kuang—a man who had spent over ten years in the garment printing industry and knew the technical side inside and out. Mr. Kuang had invented the powder shaking process for offset heat transfer printing. The two hit it off right away, and that conversation marked the beginning of our heat transfer vinyl journey.

We started small, producing only PVC cut vinyl and PU eco-solvent printable film. In the second half of 2021, we began developing DTF film. By the second half of 2022, DTF sales had really taken off. And in 2024, we expanded again—this time developing PET release film for screen printing.

That’s the short version of how we got here. A chemical company that followed a good conversation into the world of heat transfer materials—and never looked back.

Qi Zhi Chen — Operations and Development

Qi Zhi Chen oversees company development and daily operations. He’s the one who keeps us pointed in the right direction. Sharp and imaginative, he can look at a problem and see a path forward that others miss. He’s not the type to panic when things get busy. He stays calm, asks good questions, and helps the team find a way through.

What stands out most is how he treats people. He’s a friendly boss who genuinely cares about employees. He knows a company is only as good as the people in it, so he makes sure everyone has what they need to do their jobs well. If someone is struggling, he’d rather help them improve than point fingers. That attitude sets the tone for the whole company.

Hai Gen Xiao — Production Manager

Hai Gen Xiao runs production. He brings years of hands-on experience in production management and technical work. He understands how our products are made and how they’re used in real-world applications. If there’s a snag on the line, he’s usually the first to spot it and the one who figures out how to fix it.

He’s also patient—really patient. He takes time to explain things to every employee, no matter how many times they ask. He doesn’t rush people or make them feel small for not knowing something. That patience sets the tone for the whole production team. People feel comfortable asking questions, and that’s how problems get solved before they get bigger.

Qi Hui Chen — Foreign Trade General Manager

Qi Hui Chen leads our foreign trade sales department. Before that, he worked in domestic sales, so he knows the full picture—from local customers to overseas buyers. He has a deep background in customer service and often shares practical advice with the team.

If a client has a concern, Qi Hui Chen is the one who knows how to turn it into a solution. He believes good service isn’t about saying yes to everything. It’s about listening, being honest, and following through. He’s helped us build strong relationships with clients in different markets, and he’s always looking for ways to make the sales process smoother for everyone involved.

Zhenhua Xiao — R&D Manager

Zhenhua Xiao holds a PhD from the University of Hong Kong, where he focused on chemical raw material applications. He manages our R&D department. His job includes setting the department’s work plans and optimizing formulas.

He’s the kind of person who can talk about complex technical details in a way that makes sense to everyone. Many of our new R&D ideas come from him. He’s always testing, adjusting, and looking for a better way. With him leading R&D, we know our products will keep improving. He doesn’t settle for “good enough.” He wants to understand why something works and how it can work better.

Our founders still work directly with clients. They review and visit every major client with the sales representatives in China, and for foreign clients, they help us analyze every major account and offer suggestions. They often sit in on video calls, especially tech exploration meetings. You won’t get handed off to a junior account manager and never hear from the founder again. That’s not how we operate.

When they’re not working, you’ll find them running with their family, teaching their children, cooking, reading, travelling with their parents, playing games with employees, trying new coffee shops, and so on. All of them enjoy life and spend most of their spare time with family.

Inside Jiangxi Tiansheng New Materials Co., Ltd: Our Workplace and Culture

We have two factories: an older one in Ji’an City and a new one in Jishui County. Most of our workers are still based at the old factory, while the new factory is still being laid out and planned.

We built both factories ourselves. The buildings are simple and spacious, designed to give everyone room to focus and collaborate comfortably.

Inside, there’s a lot going on. Our sample room is full of colorful samples that clients love to browse. The private offices get plenty of natural light. We have meeting rooms for team discussions and a reception room with awards and certifications on the walls. The canteen serves good food—real, free meals. On the production side, we have temperature- and humidity-controlled workshops and clean rooms. Our R&D office is fully equipped, and there’s a testing room and a warehouse to keep things moving.

You’ll also find coffee machines, whiteboard walls, and multimedia conference screens that get used a lot. We keep things simple. We’d rather spend money on tools and training than on fancy furniture. That’s been our approach from the start, and it hasn’t let us down yet.

How We Work

We believe in flexible schedules. Some of us start early, some start late. What matters is that the work gets done and clients are taken care of. We do have core hours—9:00am to 5:00pm—when everyone’s available for meetings. Outside of that, people manage their own time.

We also believe in fewer meetings, more doing. We keep internal meetings short and focused. If a meeting can be an email, it should be an email. That’s not laziness; it’s respect for people’s time.

Culture in Practice

Every year, we organize team-building activities—participation is not mandatory, and we avoid extravagance. The activities vary widely: rafting, outdoor simulated military training, and games prepared by our administrative department, like singing competitions and bonfire evenings. We also hold an annual party where each department puts on a performance—some do street dance, some comedy skits, some singing and dancing, some poetry recitations, and more. The performances are diverse and colorful.

In addition, we offer training programs so every employee can set aside a few hours each month for professional skill development.
