What is DTF printing?
DTF printing is direct to film printing. It is a versatile and effective method for producing high-quality custom designs on fabrics, making it a popular choice for garment decorators and businesses in the apparel industry. - Make the design on software: The process begins with creating a digital design, which is printed onto the PET film using a DTF printer that utilizes DTF pigment inks.
- Adhesive Application: After the design is printed on the film, a hot-melt adhesive powder is applied to the dry ink. This adhesive is then cured using a heat source, allowing it to stick to the printed design.
- Transfer: Once the adhesive is set, the film can be placed onto the fabric. Using a heat press, the design is transferred to the fabric at 145-165’C temperature and 0.3-0.5Mpa pressure.
- Peeling: After pressing, the film is peeled away, leaving the design adhered to the garment.
What is heat transfer vinyl?

- Material Composition: HTV is made from a polyurethane (PU) or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) material that has been coated and then become vinyl. When heat pressed it on the garments, the vinyl bonds securely to the fabric.
- Format: HTV typically comes in sheets or rolls and is available in various colors, finishes, and textures (such as matte, glossy, metallic, glitter, and flock).
